I don't usually care who is on the cover, but it has been A LONG TIME since an Avs player has been on the EA NHL cover, so I'm very pumped as a fan that it's Cale and will definitely be picking up a physical version this year.

Great pick, and fun fact, this is only the fourth defensemen to be featured on the cover by themselves:

- Pronger (NHL 2000)
- Phaneuf (NHL 09)
- Subban (NHL 19)
- Makar (NHL 24)

Better they would spend money for some special artists/developers, not for expansive cover athlets. Mainly we await a good game, means complete package and not only the gameplay. Personal could live with a simple logo at the cover.

I found a good balance for this offline gamer. As far as the cover goes I am just happy it’s not another Matthews cover.
