Re: Passing mechanics
Curious as well because I stuck with classic passing last year and this year I feel like I want to take the plunge for placement and accuracy but the learning curve will be brutal. Last year you would throw 6 picks a game, after a few test games it seems it isn't as badLA Angels

Re: Passing mechanics
Yeah, the mechanics are effectively the same. You still have Lob/Touch/Bullet. You can still lead/trail with the throw. You can still throw high, but you can also throw low with Classic.
The difference is that with placement, you get more ability to really lead your WR. If I find that I'm not able to effectively lead my WR, I'll switch. But last year, Classic was my choice.Comment

Re: Passing mechanics
I use Power with No Max Distance. Same as last year. Can't imagine going back to Classic now that I'm used to placing the ball.
My tip for those just beginning to use the feature would be realizing you don't need to place every single pass. Don't get in the habit of feeling like you do.

Re: Passing mechanics
This is me see last year I try the new passing but I was so disgusted with the game I stop playing. This year the game is better and im trying to understand this new mechanic. The training really dont go into details like it should.I use Power with No Max Distance. Same as last year. Can't imagine going back to Classic now that I'm used to placing the ball.

Re: Passing mechanics
This is the best advice when it comes to placement. I started using placement power and it’s really not meant to be used on every throw. Sometimes you just have to put the ball in the receiver. But every now and then you need to split the safety’s on a cover two and it is magicalI use Power with No Max Distance. Same as last year. Re: Passing mechanics
Correct. If you don’t use the trigger it works the same as classic. I only used it on certain throws. This is the best advice when it comes to placement. Re: Passing mechanics
So, if I make the recticle speed 2 instead of 7, that will slow it down, correct…and keep me from overdoing the movement? I didnt use this last year but want to try it in ‘24.
Thanks!Comment
