- I disabled HDR on both PC and xbox. I don't know whether that makes a difference or not with lighting/ray tracing.
- Xbox Series X in 1080p, Madden 24 in "performance mode"
- Xbox screenshot was piped in through a capture card to Avermedia center.
- PC with RTX 3080ti, 1080p with everything on High.
- "Ambient Occlusion Quality" tested with "Ray traced" and "Medium"/ray tracing off.
- 1:00 game, clear weather in all screenshots
- These aren't super high-res screenshots, I used a free tool called Techsmith capture.
- Madden's lighting changes, depending on quarter and who has possession, I tried to maintain consistency with this but some screenshots are from the 2nd quarter
On PC, I haven't made any changes in Nvidia to adjust sharpness. 3d grass looks pretty good on PC, but doesn't come through in the screenshots. Xbox looks far sharper in the screenshots and with my own eyes looking at both side-by-side. Again, this can probably be adjusted in Nvidia control panel in the game.
This is not really intended for a graphics comparison, just wanted to compare the lighting.
