Interceptions
Interceptions seem way to high to me even when dropping the int slider. Anyone else think the same thing or is it just me. I’m struggling big time with throwing INT’sTags: None -

I am on All-pro using Armor and Swords Sliders. Think ints are at 18, and I have played 2 games with no ints.
Practice, practice, practice.

I’m playing on all madden. I’ve always played on that level with no problems. Maybe I’m not giving it enough time. Just seemed way too many interceptionsComment

Re: Interceptions
I’ve only played a few games so far (12-min quarters; default AP) but I haven’t thrown a pick yet.
If I had to bet, chances are you probably need to be more decisive, get the ball out quicker, and attack the first two levels more often than the third level. Most guys I see seem to attack the third level all game long.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: Interceptions
I’m more of a short to medium passer. Rarely throw the deep ball. More of a dink and dunker so to speak. Maybe I need to try an all pro slider set. But I’ve always played on all madden.I’ve only played a few games so far (12-min quarters; default AP) but I haven’t thrown a pick yet.

Re: Interceptions
I agree that the cpu will pick the ball off more than knocking it down or dropping it. Though I don’t think EA will change that, the slider acts more of an aggression for the defenders so lowering it won’t necessarily change the rest of it. You just have to keep practicing and know you can’t win every pass playComment

This is all good advice, but I'd throw one more in there...I’ve only played a few games so far (12-min quarters; default AP) but I haven’t thrown a pick yet.

Do NOT drop back 10 yards (or roll-out) on every pass play! This is a common mistake players make - it not only makes the throws longer, but it changes the passing windows and can make many throws a lot tougher. Learning to step-up in the pocket, while it can be challenging at first, is a foundational approach that every Madden player should learn.Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

Re: Interceptions
If you're struggling on All-Madden then turn it to All-Pro until you master free form. I always play on All-Pro but the first week of the game I typically use Pro until I get the passing down.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Interceptions
I did test the INT slider in my franchise because of how broken it was at the start of last year. It does work this year out of the box, which is a relief.
I tested it on All Madden at like 5 or 10 and the CPU corners were dropping everything. To me, 15 was a the sweet spot for ALL Madden, but I also need the CPU to be slightly more forgiving of my bonehead QB decisions, so there's that.Comment

Re: Interceptions
I have 12 TDs 4 int through 8 games in my franchise.
It would look more like 12 TDs and 20 ints last year or the year before that or the year before that etc.....
Even worse than that was the obscene amount the cpu would throw last year.
I'm not having an int problem at all this year. Feels right for me as well as cpu.2016 NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush

Re: Interceptions
Same here.. Kyler has about 20 and 2.. Would be 5/6 but the cb's dropped the ball, which is normal in real life..I have 12 TDs 4 int through 8 games in my franchise.

Re: Interceptions
Today seemed lots better. Don’t think I threw a single INT in 2 games. Guess just needed to give it more time and practice. On another note I’ve been simming my defensive drives but kinda started playing some and defense seems way tougher than last couple years. Or os that me too lol.Comment
