Re: Accelerated clock
On - was one of the best things added to Madden forever ago that even NCAA didn’t have. Makes it more realistic that you don’t have 20 seconds to hit route like Peyton Manning every play. -
Re: Accelerated clock
This year, I've played OFF with 8 minute quarters. I'm getting the most realistic yardage on both HUM and CPU I have in years doing that.Currently playing:
Madden 26
MLB The Show 25
Super Mario Wonder
Pokemon Unbound
Teams:
New York Mets
New York Jets
Philadelphia FlyersComment

What are the chances that accelerated clock has an affect on fatigue?"Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment

Re: Accelerated clock
It actually doesn't make any sense realistically.. The avg NFL team SNAPS the ball between 8-15 seconds... So GETTING to the line and making adjustments being done before the snap, somewhere in the 20s would be more realistic
The problem is, madden ALWAYS puts the clock at 40, when in real life, there are many times it starts at 25. If they added this dynamic, we wouldn't need accelerated clock cause some plays you'd be rushing to get it in in 25 or less anywayComment

Re: Accelerated clock
I don’t know… it seems to me most teams snap at 5 secs or less unless in hurry up. They usually get to the line at 20 or so. Anyway the acc clock is not necessarily when it’s snapped it’s more about getting the right number of plays per game which I believe is somewhere 130 total, give or take.It actually doesn't make any sense realistically.. This shows the amount of time it took each team to snap the ball on average last year. 9 to 15 seconds seems to be the range of time left on the clock.
