Dropped Passes KC vs Detroit
Didn't want to be the first one to say this....but I think Madden kinda got the dropped passes on point compared to last nights game.

Shhhhh... those facts don't fit with the "mAdDeN sUcKs" narrative. -
Re: Dropped Passes KC vs Detroit
Been saying this since people started complaining.
Players have just been so used to being able to make any pass and I would say 75% of the time the WR came down with it. Now that they added more frequent drops and knock outs, it's complain city.
I like it.

Re: Dropped Passes KC vs Detroit
This is one of the main thing i love about M24. accurate passes are not an automatic complete. I saw wide open drops as well.. Love it. Perfect balance IMOBeen saying this since people started complaining.

100% agree. People claim they want “sim” until “sim” doesn’t work out in their favor.Comment

Re: Dropped Passes KC vs Detroit
For me, all I ask for is a variety. I agree totally with the OP... there were a lot of dropped passes in that game but the issue with EA is that there are a lot of dropped passes in EVERY game.
I want to see a variety of injuries. Some games may have none while others might have 8. Some games have 5 penalties and others have 15. The issue with EA is that it is always the same in every game.
But all in all, I think I am enjoying M24 more than I can remember enjoying other games, but I don't know if it is because I lowered my expectationsComment

Re: Dropped Passes KC vs Detroit
Whats not sim is that game last night having 7 penalties and M24 would have zeroComment

Re: Dropped Passes KC vs Detroit
Just wait until madden add this and as soon as you get realistic penalties people will complain that they are too much. people like sim until the get it as is being said in this thread.English, is not my first language.Comment

Re: Dropped Passes KC vs Detroit
I think you're forgetting that madden users usually throw way more passes in a game compared to real life.
Toney had what, 5 targets the whole game? That's comparable to a single drive in madden.Last edited by Shogunreaper; 09-08-2023, 05:51 PM.Comment

Re: Dropped Passes KC vs Detroit
All people really want is the penalty sliders to work, and then you can set it to the amount you want. I don't think that's an unreasonable request.

Re: Dropped Passes KC vs Detroit
I haven't had any problems with the passes in Madden.
However, this thread has an identical twin which was made after the first NFL game last year. Madden 23 had a very real interception problem which someone used the opening game of the NFL season to show how Madden was actually getting it right (there were 5 interceptions in last year's opening game).Comment

Re: Dropped Passes KC vs Detroit
I had the fun experience of playing against the Chiefs in franchise the morning after watching that game. Toney, Rice, MVS and the rest all had endless contested catches with a total of one drop - Mahomes went something like 33 of 41.
Jefferson and Addison both had two drops each for me.
I have seen some improvement in terms of missed throws and incompletions from previous games, but nothing like we saw on Thursday night.Comment
