Does Shooting seem much harder and off?
I'm really struggling to find my shot in my first couple of games. I am missing even when the meter seems to be in the right spot. Not sure if I'm missing something and I've only played three games but it is off to me at the moment. Just wondering what others are seeing and if someone has any pointers.

I’ve only done Play Now and Play Now Online, but it’s been a lot easier for me. I had a hell of a time making shots on 2k23. Sent from my iPhone using Operation Sports |

It's easier. I did notice that the releases from last year didn't carry over. I haven't tried the different release settings (just using default) but Cam Thomas' release is MUCH quicker by default than it was last year even though the animation looks the same.
on superstar I've had no issues. |
Re: Does Shooting seem much harder and off?
Shooting is SO much harder for me this year and I don’t know why. I was greening everything last year with the ‘early’ setting. Now it seems I can barely time anything.
Been a real struggle and the CPU seems to make everything on superstar and above. Really giving me a hard time this year lol |
Re: Does Shooting seem much harder and off?
Have y'all gone into settings and looked at the different options for shot timing? Last year I think they had very early, early, late, and very late. I think they changed it this year to be more descriptive. I'd suggest trying out the different options and seeing what works best for you. Perhaps your timing setting differs from where you think the release is supposed to be for jump shots.

It seems like Set Point is the timing release option that matches closest to early from last year. |
