NCAA 14 —> Madden 24 Draft Class Converter

    V2.0 - RELEASED!

In collaboration with TARTfromULUVFOODS , we are proud to present a true NCAA 14 College Football Revamped to Madden 24 Draft Class Converter.

The link to the 2-Part tool will be at the bottom of this post.

    When using the tool:

PLEASE LOOK AT "UPDATE LOG" ON THE INTRO TABS FOR DETAILS!

TUTORIAL VIDEOS ARE INCLUDED! PLEASE WATCH THOSE!

    README ALSO INCLUDED PLEASE READ!!!

If you do not read the README or watch these quick videos, please do not ask for help. It's a very straightforward process when you watch/read! We have no issues offering support because people get stuck/bugs happen.

    Requirements:
    Madden Extreme DB Editor
    Madden Franchise Editor
    NCAA 14
    Madden 24

There are plenty of resources out there that show you how to get these tools and how to use them. We will only assist with using our tool.

    FEATURES:

Ratings were converted using a true-to-life Mock Draft system and will hope to highlight a players NCAA skills to Pro Skills. A multitude of things are taken into account when creating the Draft Order:
    Size
    Ability
    School Prestige
Stats (3500 Yards passing in P5 is better then 4000 Yards in G5 etc.)
Accolades (Heisman, Awards, All Americans, etc.)

We tested our system using Real Life draft boards to give the user the most realistic conversion system possible. this can also be configured to the User's liking (Watch the tutorial vids).

There is also a fully functioning ""Boom/Bust"" Feature which will keep users and AI on their toes when drafting. You'll see some Top 5 Picks fall into the 60's OVR wise. Some may be as high as 85! (Think Sauce Gardner or Micah Parsons type of rookies). Some Top 10 Picks will be Mid-60's OVR with "Normal" dev (Think Zach Wilson or Trubisky).

There is a chance your 2 Time Heisman winning QB ends up being a bust. It happens. If you don't like it, edit his ratings in game to your liking!

    TRANSLATED FROM NCAA TO MADDEN:

    College
    Name
    Position
    Height
    Weight
    Handedness
Age (Based on College Year age ranges)
    Player Number
Skin Tone (As best we could.)

    DEV TRAITS:

Dev Traits are in a sense, random, but top prospects have a much, much higher chance of being good Dev Traits then lower drafted picks. However, we have seen 6th Round players and worse receive X-Factor Dev Traits which adds a ton of storyline and flavor to your classes! Vanilla Madden does a poor job of spreading these out IMO.

    SUPPORT:

If you have any questions about PART 1, please guide your questions to @TARTfromULUVFOODS. Please reference our thread in the Community Mod Forum on the CFBR Revamped Discord.

If you have any questions about PART 2, guide your questions to me @JWDixon on Discord, in the Community Mod Discussion on the Madden Modding Community where our tool's discussion is listed. Otherwise, drop them here.

    KNOWN ISSUES/BUGS:

Currently, draft class saving and importing is bugged so if you make a class in your franchise, it will ONLY work for that franchise. This is an EA issue and we can't do anything on our end to mitigate this.

Not necessarily a bug, but every time you manipulate a cell in Sheets, every players attributes will be re-rolled. So no 2 classes will ever be the same. Just a heads up if you notice when importing your classes, they seem to look slightly different.

As of now, the way Madden 24 Handles player appearance is unsolved. It is being worked on by the amazing crew over in the Madding Modding Community. Until that is fixed, player's skin tone will match as best as possible to their NCAA 14 counterpart. Sometimes you'll see a Lightskin player come over as White in Madden, or Black. We did our best and these instances should be rare.

Equipment also suffers the same fate. Players will, however, have the correct equipment for their position. You won't see a QB with 2 gloves or a RB with 2 knee braces. The equipment should fit the position.

Until we solve the appearance issue, this will be the case. Eventually we will have it solved and this will be a thing of the past. Players have to "Share" appearances until then. So if you edit a player in your Draft Class to have a black visor, all other players who share that appearance will have the same Black Visor.

    CHANGE LOG:
    V0.5 - Initial Tool Release

V1.0 - Added Temporary Appearance Fix (Skin Tones mostly match, Equipment matches the position)

V1.5 - Fixed "Top 10 Prospects" Screen and Scouting so that positions matched when scouting.
'- Added in Audio ID's so player's with Last Names in Madden have their name called by commentary.

    V2.0 - Fixed Player Archetypes
' - Fixed OVR's in "Edit Players" Screen when looking at draft class.

    Enjoy,
    @TARTfromULUVFOODS & @JWDixon

    Part 1 Tutorial:
Hey guys, Tart from You Love Foods here. In this video, I'll be showing you part one of the Madden 24 Conversion Tool, specifically the NCAA Filter Tool. This tool is designed to help you prepare your draft classes from NCAA for use in Madden 24. I'll guide you through the process of extracting the necessary tabs from the EA editor and exporting them as a CSV file. This tool is essential for ensuring accurate player data and ratings adjustments. Stay tuned for part two, where J.W. Dixon will demonstrate how to integrate the extracted data into Madden. Enjoy the process and have fun with it!

Part 1 Draft Config Tutorial (Optional):
In this video, I explain how to customize draft rankings in Madden 24 and provide an overview of the Madden 24 Out Tab. I discuss the importance of awards, the impact of being a top pick, and the role of prospects' storylines. I also cover the significance of conference first teams and All-Americans, as well as the boost and penalty system for different positions. Any idea if this will work for older versions of Madden? Madden 22 for PS4 to be specific.
