    Saving downloaded rosters

This is my first 2k in about 7 years and still trying to figure things out on next gen. I usually only play MYNBA but wait till the season starts so up until then I just use play now and tweak the sliders until the game is where I like it. But for the life of me when I download a roster it doesn’t stay under my files so I have to re download it every time before I start a play now game. I know that once I start a franchise the roster will save under that file but is there a way to save one outside of the my nba mode?

Are you saving the roster? When you download it from 2KShare, you need to save the roster after you're down viewing/editing it, if you want to keep it. When you back out of the roster, it will give you the option to save it.

No I’m not I trying to save it, it hasn’t even given me the option to save it. I DL from 2k share and it uploads then just takes me to the roster page and then if I back out it just goes back to the screen that says live roster, download user roster or injury free roster.

Ok, on that main menu, there is "View Roster" and it sounds like that is what you are using. That only allows you to look at the roster, you can't edit it or anything, and it will just back out when you're done. You want to pick the option right next to that on the menu though, "Create Roster". Then, you'll be able to download the roster, edit the players, go into specific players, export their DNA, etc. and when you back out of the roster from there, you'll have the option to save the roster or exit without saving it.
