The biggest part of this patch to me is the change to the lighting on celebrations. Thank goodness they’re limiting that cinematic to game-changing goals for a home team.

Interference penalties are a problem as well as trying to win face-offs not addressed.

No idea what’s happened and pray it’s a one off but just played a game post patch. After one period the score was 3-3 and there had been nearly 40 shots (5 min periods). Switched it off and will try again later.

i just played a game, 7 minute periods, went to overtime. i had a total of 42 shots ( not bad i guess) cpu had 52 shots. i was vancouver and it was against seattle. the hits were me 53 cpu 37. score was 4-4 before we went to shootout.
i think this game just turned into arcade game.

it’s seems like game is playing to fast, i’m on default with game speed set on 1, it was playing good before patch

I've never been more disconnected from an NHL game in my entire life. No matter the pros/cons etc, game is flat out stale and in a weird place. Sad!

To me, the issue has always been the AI.

I can get my team to play like what you'd see in a real NHL team, but sliders can't fix the AI behavior.

No cool passing sequences etc. All they do is fly up the wing and either pass to front of net or skate to front of net.

Speaking of sliders, it's DECEMBER and we still have to go in and check them at the team select screen and adjust them to be correct.

Maybe it's my old age, but for me, MLB The Show is the only video game I still find enjoyment in. MLBTS 20 to be exact (23 is tolerable).

i was going to say the same thing, now the cpu just tries to skate to in front of net and shoot and goalies rarely stop it.

this doesn’t have anything to do with the patch, but can we edit the height and weight of a player? I’ve only ever created a new player, never edited player.

Has anyone tried playing the game with patch 1.2 or 1.3 but with the original tuner? I have the disc version of the game and I am considering doindg this to see how it plays offline.
