Well, since I’m snowed in and working from home today, I figured why not start this thread for my fellow equipment fans.

So I think Bruce Bolt is the big one that we need to see this year.

New Balance batting and fielding gloves, plus elbow and shin guards. Since Ohtani uses them now I would think they’d be looking to add those.

Mizuno catchers gear finally being added would be nice but it’s not a major need since not many catchers use it.

Finally being able to edit logo colors on batting gloves and cleats.

Having the option to set home, away, and alternate equipment colors.

Having a color wheel since a lot of colors that players are wearing now aren’t an option. Powder blue for example.

More Oakley sunglasses. I could be wrong but I don’t think they have the Oakleys that most players wear.

I’d like the option for players to wear eye black during night games. Seems like more and more players have been doing that in recent years.

I’m sure I’m missing some things but that’s all I could think of for now.

-all the retro gear and uni fits they added to storylines

This is one of my favorite things to talk about every year.

Uniforms - Pants more specifically
There are so many different styles of pants now days.
-Tight pants with socks up
-baggy pants with socks up
-Pants that are "down" but halfway down the shin (i.e. Joc Pederson/Tatis Jr.)
-Couple guys wear their pants partially above their knees

Fielding Gloves
-Every player prefers different gloves. For example, Just because you're an outfielder, doesn't mean you should have the same size glove. (same thing for infield) you should have different options of sizes of fielding gloves for every position.

I wish there was more customization on all the equipment we get to use. I know its tedious but if you want to match every player to be identical on the game as they are in real life, you need more ability to edit colors, different parts of shoes, batting gloves, fielding gloves, batting gear, etc.

-Definitely a color wheel like in nba 2k
-home, away and alternate equipment
-different fitting jerseys (loose, tight, open button etc)
-more pant styles like a previous post had mentioned

That's my list... I think just with uniform styles, you can create a closer likeness to the real life product

I want the option to keep the color no matter what the uniforms are. Stop switching the 3 primary colors around. For example Diamondbacks in 23 was annoying. Home jersey everyone wore teal instead of red, red instead of sand then any other jersey it’s red and sand. Could have used red, teal, sand while there’s already black in the general color list.

Also, as far as team colors go. The teams that have TC3 change colors based on home and away should be based on the pants, not the jerseys. Because if you wear a jersey that is considered a home alternate on the road, the equipment will still be white. So if it’s tied into the pants then white pants would be white equipment, gray pants would be gray equipment, regardless of the jersey. The preference of course would be for us to edit home and away equipment. But, if they aren’t going to do that then base TC3 on pants.
