I hope I’m not being foolish in preordering this. But I’m still playing top spin 4 on rpcs3 and no other tennis game has come close. The fact that they added Wimbledon (my only real complaint for 4), and it’s on pc. So hopefully modders can add players and attires. Means this is a must buy for me

Honestly hope this game is good, really looking forward to this. Would love to see the entire list of the 24 names.

I wonder can you create other players to be on tour for the missing names?

Man, I did not expect to see Wimbledon on here. I don’t ever pre-order games anymore but I just might go ahead with this one. It’s been a long time coming for a good tennis game on consoles, I hope this lives up to the Top Spin name.

Nice to see this finally happen. And it's releasing a lot sooner than I expected. I just wonder if the PC version is current or last gen? And furthermore, what are the differences between current and last gen other than the pricing?

Thanks for that, looks really solid. Its a shame tennis games are not like MLB or other sports games and can have the entire tennis roster involved.

I hope they let us create pro players to add them in the career mode like in the AO Series...i cant enjoy a Tour Career mode with only 12 real players...

I'm going to put together one more news article that sort of puts all the big things together from the various reveals today, and I'll be popping at least one gameplay video in there that seems to be one of the best that I've seen in terms of just showcasing raw gameplay on normal and hard.

The gameplay is slow motion and not at all a simulation of how fast tennis really is.

Then we have the graphics. FML. These would barely pass ten years ago.

Low poly human models, zombie eyes and completely disproportion limbs and bodies.

2K charging nearly twice the price of what a low budget, low effort tennis game should be and on top of that adding in packs and no doubt player DLC.

2K ruined sports games.

Oh man, if they give us the ability the create pros and import them into career...im gonna re-create the entire ATP Tour from the 80s and the 90s!

Game looks awesome. Looks like they did what THPS devs did with THPS 1+2 where they built the new game straight from the code of the previous games. This is looking like Top Spin 4+... with slighty updated graphics and a ton of 2K's favorite thing to do - throw mtx everywhere.

Game looks great though. Already pre-ordered. Hopefully we get some MyCareer details soon. As long as we can progress through that without being forced into VC purchases I think this will be a really good game even with the dated graphics and few improvements from Top Spin 4.

For comparison, watch a few videos of this game and then go watch AO and AO2. It's such a joke what we've dealt with on console the last 13 years.
