    Real Life Minor League Injuries

Before the year I go through and manually enter all the injuries for 30 team control. Can’t tell you how many times I have later been ready to call up a prospect, went online to see if me calling them up was on a realistic time table, only to find out that player is actually injured in real life. Much harder to find minor league injury info. Let’s get a thread going with a list for minor leaguers we know won’t be ready for the start of the year.

Asa Lacy SP KC just announced he had Tommy John today

Matt Cantarino SP MIN has a shoulder sprain

Daniel Espino SP CLE their best pitching prospect is out with a shoulder as well

Jovani Moran RP MIN has major league experience, but is on a minor league deal right now. You won’t find him on many mlb injury reports if you are looking. He is out for the year with Tommy John

I’d be careful loading up a franchise with “real life” minor league injuries. With only 93 spots available your only a couple of “in game” injuries away from not being able to field an actual minor league team lineup and have to release players. I’ve had it happen before without preloaded injuries, so I can only imagine this becoming a problem with
