Madden 10 vs 11 Attributes Causing Crash?

I'm finally moving from PS2 to PS3, and I've decided to go with Madden 10. But I want to play with classic rosters, so I downloaded that1990guy's 1986 roster for Madden 11, exported them to a csv file, and removed the one column that wasn't in Madden 10 (PSKH - sock height). I then opened an official Madden 10 roster in Xtreme DB Editor, imported the 1986 csv, and saved it.

When testing in RPCS3, the save loads and I can manage the rosters, although they don't have a portrait. However, when I go to play an exhibition, it crashes (the star player for each team does show in the menu, again with a blank portrait).

I thought maybe something is getting corrupted when saving within Xtreme DB Editor, so instead of loading the 1986 csv, I loaded a csv of the Madden 10 roster I was using as a base. That worked fine, so I looked at the values in the two csv files, and they don't seem to be consistent.

For instance, in the attached image, PCSA and PTSA vary greatly. Maybe differences between the rating systems of the two games is causing the crash? Or maybe since the portraits aren't loading, there's an issue with them? Also, I do see that hundreds of players share the same POID.

I really don't know the intricacies of the database, so if anyone has a suggestion, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

First, have a backup for your file. Always. While the the roster/editing tools are outstanding, files can be corrupted for any number of reasons, completely at random.

For the roster, start with this; open the file in-game, auto re-order all depth charts --> save

99/100 times issues like this are depth chart related.

If that doesn't do it; make sure position requirements are met for all teams, and that no team has more than 55 players.

PCSA (player contract salary amount) and PTSA (player total salary amount) should not have any bearing on this. The fields should be populated with different numbers, and those would only cause issues in franchise mode.

POID may or may not make a difference. If reordering the depth chart doesn't do the trick, I can break down the function of that attribute further.

I agree, first reorder the depth charts and check the number of player per team. In some games, the limit is around 70 in others is less than that like 55.

12 was the first version that allowed 75 man rosters, and working IR

        10 & 11 still had the PS2-era 55 man limit
