Does anyone else have to decide between PS5 and Series X?

I play Madden on PC, w that not being an option for college football I have to choose between PS5 and Series X. Anyone else have to do this?

No as I only have a ps5, I find the debate over what system is better very tiring. I say get the one you like. Only thing maybe I could add is Ps5 has a lot more exclusives that are big time games. outside of that not sure you could go wrong

Nope, if I do decide to get the game it will be for the X, but I would say it ultimately comes down to where your friends are playing and controller preference.

I def find it tiring too, but I own both systems and like both. I play basically completely offline. I wonder if the teambuilder creations and roster share if even possible will be cross platform shareable. I tend to like the Xbox controller a bit more, graphically I'm assuming they will be damn near identical. Also not sure if you order the Madden/College bundle if you can choose the PC version of Madden?

I'm getting it on Series X because of the suspend system, plus the discount from having gamepass. It works better than rest mode with the PS5 and will save time with reloading the game.

That said, I will be picking up a physical copy on PS5 too at a later date.

I've got a Series X so I'll bet getting it for Xbox. When crossplay is a thing in the future for online dynasty I'm sure this will be way less of an issue and better for the community overall.

Man, I wonder if they'd ever do PC and support ultrawide monitors?

Random, but I'm so glad they brought back the colored icons for PS5. Gives me one less XBOX feature to be jealous of. Still gonna be jealous if XBOX gets 120fps mode and PS5 doesn't

Got it for the series X, don't have a PS5, but also get a discount on the game with game pass on Xbox.

If money isn’t an issue, and you already have a PC, I recommend getting a PS5. The PS5 has more exclusives and Xbox exclusives are generally (if not always) playable on PC anyway.

Imo there’s next to series reason to get an Xbox if you have a PC

I'll get a PS5...because GT7, FFVII Rebirth, and FFXVI are all exclusive to the console.

There's actually zero reason to own either console if you want to take that route.

Not all of them, and they're generally delayed by years if they do end up on PC.

Meaning that if someone with a PC is 100% going to buy a console without money being an issue, there's at least a little bit of a reason to get a PS5, while next to none to get an xbox

A lot of Microsoft (Xbox) games get dual releases on PC. It took Ghost of Tsushima and Spider-Man three years to come to PC. God of War Ragnarok was just announced for a PC release and it came out two years ago. So I get what he's saying. It takes Sony quite awhile to port over their exclusive titles sometimes. And sometimes they never do. Personally, I own a Series X and not a PS5. But I bought it before I upgraded my PC to a proper gaming PC, now I wish I had a PS5 instead lol.
