Position subs

Like in Madden can you change in the coach options players who play on different formations ie i could change my entire offensive line for FG`s and put in reserve CB`s on special teams? This could be big for players getting playing time year one if there not a real starter yet! thanks

No. As of now formation subs are not in the game.

Well they are, but only in-game. So you can't make the formation subs a permanent thing in the depth chart, but you can do it in-game, which can be a bit of a PITA.

Oh that is a shame, would of made giving players playing time very easy on special teams, thanks

How does one do in-game substitutions? I can’t seem to find it. (I’m on PS5.)

It's pretty easy. Flick the stick when highlighting personal is a way to do it. Cycle to backup rb or qb etc. I do it all game

These really aren't formation subs. For example there is no way for me to put my usual receiver that runs reverses or jet sweeps at WVU in that spot. Just not possible. I can even put him in that depth chart position and he's not there. Not having formation subs really stinks with wear and tear and also trying to get certain guys in certain spots to use them the best.
