Maybe this will actually force EA to fix this issue. Dynasty mode is what they hyped and the mode sucks. From stats to outcomes the mode is completely flawed.

Re: SI Blasts Sim Logic
In classic EA fashion it’s always a guessing game of what needs to be patched… given that this game wasn’t ready last year, you’d think these obvious issues would have been addressed.
But hey… at least the face masks look cool 🤷🏾*♂️🙄Comment

Re: SI Blasts Sim Logic
okay, SOMETHING is definitely wonky to the point of spoiling the experience
PS5, season 3.....get a load of this top 25
in what universe would any of this be possible?

not only are teams like UAB, ODU, Utah, & Louisville in the TOP 25.........but take a look at their W/L records!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have had DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK with stats of just 1 tackleComment

Re: SI Blasts Sim Logic
To be fair, a 5-3 Utah team could be #23 if they were preseason top 10 and both beat and lost to good teams. Some of that other stuff is wonky.okay, SOMETHING is definitely wonky to the point of spoiling the experience

This is a major issue that should be EA's main focus.PSN: sportdan30

Paid almost 100 dollars to basically be a beta tester.
This is why this was the first EA football game I’ve bought in over 5 years. I’ll just wait for the free trial in the futureComment

Re: SI Blasts Sim Logic
That’s the thing that is concerning that this isn’t a quick or easy fix. It’s not like this is the type of issue that would need thousands of people playing to uncover. So presumably it is known to them and hasn’t been able to be fixed thus far.Comment

Re: SI Blasts Sim Logic
Or as they said it is intentional and EA just has a skewed perception of how many upsets and how much parity actually exist in real life. But also I think the rating of teams not being spread out enough is contributing to the problem personally.Comment

Re: SI Blasts Sim Logic
I go back to what EA said , "every team is someone's favorite." Maybe they built the logic this way because they know most people are not going to take a 1 star program and grind them to a national contender over many seasons . To appease the masses they just made it super easy to get any team to the top of the polls within a couple seasons.
In terms of sim stats, many users don't run the ball and maybe they tuned the sim engine to align with user tendencies. Im very curious to see how this all plays out. Will EA even acknowledge the problem, they have yet to do it in Madden and that sim engine has been trash for a long time.Comment

Re: SI Blasts Sim Logic
Something does seem a little off but I do wonder how W/L is going to change with all these super conferences forming.Pittsburgh Penguins
Penn State Nittany Lions
Pittsburgh Pirates
Denver BroncosComment

Re: SI Blasts Sim Logic
I mean lets be honest there is still going to be separation between teams. I mean I get what are saying about teams potentially having tougher schedules and playing more good teams but the Minnesota's of the world, etc are still not going to beat teams like UM, OSU, Oregon and PSU very often.Comment

Re: SI Blasts Sim Logic
I do think there’s a connection between upsets and rushing stats being off. A lot of the top teams would be pounding the ball down the throats of these smaller teams and wearing them out. If every game is simmed without proper rushing attempts and success then the results are going to be skewed.Comment
