Question About Recruiting | Green Arrow Indicators

Hi all, I have a Recruiting question...

When you first start recruiting, you generally get 50 hours to allot, and the options are as follows:

    50 - Send the House
    25 - Contact Friends & Family
    10 - Send a DM
    5 - Search Social Media

When you use these yours, you can see those little green arrow indicators that show his much influence the options have on the player.

The obvious logic would be the more points you use, the more you green arrows if influence you'll gain but...

If you use the 50 hours to send the house, you'll generally get 4 or 5 green arrows of influence.

But if you opt instead to spend 40 hours with the 25/10/5 hours, you'll always get more green influence bars.

So which is actually better, spending the full 50 hours or spending 40 hours and getting more influence bars.

I just send the house if I can, that seems to get the most information about what the players find important too. I’m not entirely sure I’m right though.

From what I understand, the green arrows are not guarantees, they only indicate the potential max influence you can get with those actions.

Also, from what it seems like I see in my dynasty I'm playing right now, Sending the House gains influence but doesn't give you information on what pitches the recruit is interested in. The other ones give you influence and get you that information with the more expensive the action, the better the potential influence and potential information you get is.

There seems to be a trade-off with you sending the house to get the player interested in you, but you won't know as much about them on a deeper level when it comes time to make your pitch. Or, you can get to know them, have potentially less influence, but you'll know exactly how to sell your program to them.

I may have been wrong based on this thread.

The first "guide" I watched had me sending the house to as many guys as I could afford to...which isn't many with a small school. Sending the house has a 5 star (arrow) influence at a cost of 50 hours...Contacting friends & family has a 4 star (arrow) influence at a cost of 25 hours. See that...half the cost for a loss of 1 arrow of influence meaning you can spread your hours around to a twice as many guys potentially get more guys into Top 5 faster so you "Hard Sell" those green pitches.

From seemingly ALL off the stuff I've seen it looks in this new system it pays to stay close to your school...which is realistic and why the majority of rosters are comprised of home state kids.

Great find, exactly what I was looking for.

Both seem logical but obviously both can't be correct, good to see someone has tested it out.

            Thanks!
