    Coach and school prestige regression!?!?!

Just finished year 1 of my SJSU Spartans dynasty. I just kept the randomly generated coach and changed his name and appearance. He started the year with a C+ prestige rating. SJSU starts with a 2.5 star school rating.

Year one I went 8-5 and won the Hawaii Bowl vs UMASS. Signed a decent (not great) recruiting class #68 in the nation. Now I am beginning Year 2 and my coach presitige dropped to a C- (from a C+), and my school prestige dropped to 2-stars.

After what can certainly be considered a successful season for SJSU (going 8-5 and winning a bowl game), how does coach and school prestige both drop like that? Makes no sense..... am I missing something?

The Coach Prestige pitch grade factors in your offensive and defensive coordinators’ respective coach prestige grades, not just that of the head coach.

Did either or both of your coordinators get hired away during bowl season and replaced with a coach or coaches with worse prestige?

Additionally, did any other pitch grades for your school decrease (Championship Contender, Coach Stability, Pro Potential, etc.)?

Team prestige is no longer just a "you had a good season, so you go up a star" like in the old games. It is tied into all of your school rankings. So, if you still don't have good pro-potential, have new coaches with lower prestige, and other grades that may have dropped even if you did well your prestige can go down.

I like this change as it makes it so small schools can't go from 1 star to 5 stars in 4 seasons like you could in NCAA 14 and really emphasizes how long the grind is to build a program to be a prestigious one.

Ah that could be it then. Both of my coordinators were C+ rated, and were hired away, so I hired 2 new coordinators who were each a C prestige. Doesn't look like any other factors decreased in prestige so still not sure how I went from a C+ to a C- but at least it makes a bit more sense now
