Are you talking about just simming the games? I've been looking for a few guys to play with in an online league. Get through a couple 30 year dynasties.
Always used to play with a buddy in madden that way.

Coach Mode is enabled in settings.
QB on auto pass once the ball is snapped
Users can make unit adjustments before the snap, shift DL, and LBs, adjust coverage
OL blocking, shift left-right, double team, max protection
On off-use hot routes
For punting/kicking you can do it manually or sim next play.
Once the ball is snapped User can't control any player.
The focus is on developing game plans, and strategy.
