UPDATE to 2k24 improves movement and decisions

New Update by 2K the CPU players move better, cut better, and all around movement seems for a much improved experience. Default All Star sliders are now GOOD>

Try the game again and see if you feel there is a big improvement in Game play.

Pacers are a good team to play against to see the ball movement.

I've been trying to create inbound plays content. I did notice the ball movement and players was a little bit more crisp. I just thought it was because I was playing with 12-13 Heat. Now I have to double check everything lol [emoji2957]

Yes, Play for 10 minutes or so, you will notice the difference on offense immediately, also the CPU is an upgrade on movement too.

Yeah, they've definitely made some good changes with this last patch.

Fingers crossed this is more or less how the CPU will play/react in 2K25 with added improvements elsewhere.

Haven’t really seen any difference on my end, but I felt the CPU has been playing great over the last couple of months tbh..

I decided to download 2K24 again after reading this thread the other day. There has definitely been changes to the movement, but I wouldn't call those changes an improvement; rather, this was how the movement was at launch.

It seems like every year, 2K starts off strong at launch, giving us great simulation gameplay, only for patches and other gameplay changes throughout the season to strip that away. It seems like the game is sped up throughout the year, possibly to make it more responsive for the online crowd. I wish there was a way to separate the two codes so that us offline guys can continue to enjoy the more realistic movement for the entire season and not just at the end as the next iteration is about to drop.
According to my old marketing professor, satisfaction is when product performance meets or exceeds consumer expectation.

I feel like it isn't as jittery and sped up like at launch. I had to lower game speed to the low - mid 40's to compensate, but now it's good at default 50.

They definitely messed with the movement through the life-cycle of the game, but now the off-ball movement, etc. is better than at any point, IMO.
