It doesn't make sense that in a full 40 seconds I wouldn't be able to call a single hot route or audible. At a certain point if it's too loud the QB could walk over to the players individually and tell them the play. Not being able to make a single pre-snap adjustment at times on the road is absurd.

Home field advantage effects are OP
I love that they've found a way to actually represent home field advantage and add a real challenge for the away team at big stadiums, but it gets a bit ridiculous at times.

I'm not sure of this but if you take your time and not just flick the stick in general direction it takes the commandComment

Yeah I’m pretty stoked on the HFA. It’s impactful but not overly so.

I love that the HFA makes me really learn my playbook. I have to know what WRs are what button before I run the play since there's a good chance I won't get to see them pre-play or even during the play.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Definitely not as overpowered as it was in Madden, and I'm so glad we don't have a meter taking up the screen anymore."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment

Re: Home field advantage effects are OP
The game day environment — on the road, in the top venues — is my favorite part of the game. I really enjoy the crowd, band/stadium music, and composure effects. In my dynasty, I started a 3* true freshman, on the road, at Florida State and it began as you might expect. However, after I quickly got down three possessions, the crowd became apathetic. This allowed me to build some composure back for my QB, which provided me an opportunity claw back into the game.
This felt similar to actual games where the away team just needs to weather the home crowd for a bit.Alabama Crimson Tide | Jacksonville Jaguars

Re: Home field advantage effects are OP
Some of it makes sense. Some of it doesn’t.
Looking over and getting a signal from the sideline isn’t something that should require hearing.
I don’t like how you have to just spam hot routes over and over and hope they finally hear you at some point. I’d much rather it be the way that it used to be where sometimes they heard you, sometimes they got it wrong. But it didn’t show you in the play art. That would keep people from spamming hot routes on the road.
The worst part to me is the missing icons and inability to hot route certain players. They are both fine in theory, but sometimes, they overlap. Meaning sometimes, the WR can’t be hot routed and their icon is also hidden post snap. So you have no idea what WR icon it is. Sometimes it’s straight forward what icon it is, but with some plays it isn’t.
But, this is essentially copy and paste from Madden’s HFA. That’s why it is the way that it is.Comment

I don’t even use the pre-snap art, and i never audible. Have no problems moving the ball. It’s all in your head dude.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: Home field advantage effects are OP
I think the Home Field Advantage effects are handled perfectly. It should be hard, especially with younger quarterbacks. There have been a few times it has been frustrating, but that only makes it feel more organic to me. Going into some of those stadiums should be frustrating. It is the entire point of college football.
That said, after one dynasty season, I had to turn the camera shake off in Accessibility settings. It may be because I haven't played a single down of video game football since NCAA 14 and I'm into middle age but the camera shake at particularly tough opposing stadiums was on the verge of making me nauseous. Other than that, I love the effect. It is done exactly how it should be.Comment

Definitely agree w/ @TarHeelPhenom about that meter taking up the screen! So glad it doesn’t. I’m just glad that I can still get my line adjustments in pretty decently. That has been a HUGE help with taking sacks in coach mode!

Re: Home field advantage effects are OP
Exactly. I'm not there yet but I'm a keep plugging away, I know I will get there eventually but right now without being able to look at the pre-snap art, I cannot win at Georgia because I don't know how to tell what my receivers corresponding button icons are. But I can easily beat the Dawgs on a neutral site. Right now teams that have a really tough road environment is one of the things that are making me keep enjoying thos tough road losses. Alright, back to the grind again I go.Talk about things nobody cares.
