Madden 25 Generic faces

Will there be the same generic and uglies generic face as in previous years or the better generic faces than in EA college football?</pre>

It would seem that way... The M25 beta still had them and was able to see a twitch stream of Franchise last week and they were clearly there and no other option. Faces are so bad and PS2 looking. After a few years into franchise you're stuck drafting clones and your league is full of them. So lazy and date. One of the top voted things in the Beta feedback community for Madden to improve but they ignore every year...

Even EA College Football has 16000+ faces and 70+ hairstyles they use to solve for this and the game just came out. Madden should do that or let us use the SuperStar face editor in Franchise. As of now the game feels cheap and won't bother getting it.

The only thing I would say is that stream someone had the other day didn't have the new uniforms for the season in it (Texans specifically) so obviously it wasn't final build.

With that said, I expect majority of the faces to be the same as years past (based on history and the franchise video draft section had same faces) but believe they added a few more new ones

I am expecting 95% of the same faces although would love an overhaul similar to CFB but with the ability to change hair/facial hair

I believe they added new faces this year.

They did but not many if I recall.

I hope next madden they do the same that CFB 25 did.

They look like the same faces so far. I'm assuming it will be the same thing on Teambuilder website.

How hard would it have been to port the superstar face editor to roster editor and into dynasty? Or even just use the same generic faces that are in CFB 25?

Adding the Superstar face editor into franchise has been one of the most requested updates to Franchise in the beta feedback forums the last 2 years. Dumb drafting clones of the same player until your league is full of them (especially with the new draft presentation it looks so bad). Even doing what EA College Football does with having 16000 faces to use on recruits so you don't see the same player would work...

The SuperStar face editor was in the Franchise beta for editing draft classes last year but they removed it after the first update and never said why. Was told when asked by one of the devs to just play SuperStar mode instead...

Refuse to buy Madden again on this issue alone it is so lazy/dated having the same generic faces each year especially when other modes of the game and all other eSport games offer way more customization.

Furthermore, it's seems there are approximately only 50 new facescans at launch, like last year with Madden 24 launch...

Yeah without a doubt but they did add some new ones.

This is one of the first things that I noticed after downloading the Early Access MVP Edition (bundled with CFB 25) that signaled to me that I probably wasn't going to really enjoy this game like I am with CFB.

I saw Tyson Bagent's face and thought back to how EA said they used AI to match player's faces in CFB 25. I just don't understand why Madden can't do the same thing for the sake of authenticity and realism. It bothers me so much that these issues that have literally been in the game forever are still rearing their very ugly heads once again.

The level of effort is just sad. We will never get a Madden game that is worth a damn.

Would be extremely disappointed if it is the same generic faces for draft classes again (the same PS2 40 year old rookies filling your league up) and they aren't leveraging what the did in college football with AI at least again and an abundance of AI faces so we stop seeing the same bad ones every other draft pick. Or at least give people the option to customize the face like in SuperStar mode... Will be the first thing i look at during the beta and if it is the same that is a pretty good indicator of the substance/effort they put in franchise and a pass for me. Community has been asking for franchise face customization for the last decade+...

Having said that it does make me nervous that gridiron notes called out new coach face options and customization but nothing about franchise player customization... Will wait until the deep dive/beta/demo comes out but would assume not unless confirmed...

More than a decade ago, one of the Madden games had actual photos of generic players. THAT would be a cool feature to
bring back. But heck, I just went on ChatGPT to create an image and made one in 8 seconds. Surely with their resources, EA can do a much better job with this.

They already mentioned they are working out the kinks in the system used in CFB and are planning to bring it to Madden once they do that.
