Say what you will about Kate Scott’s voice, she does a pretty good job of keeping up with the action on the field here. Hearing this makes me wonder if there was a glitch in the SB commentary with Tirico & Olsen with all the dead air.

Good god , that commentary in the first vid is giving me a blades of steel vibe , we going back to ps1 days, sounds awful.

The commentary teams were very obviously recorded separately. Gaudin and Davis were recorded together so it flowed much more seamlessly. The biggest knock against them is that they've been the sole commentary team for so long but it sounds way more natural. The new teams need to get in the booth together. The energy is all over the place.

The commentary teams were very obviously recorded separately. Gaudin and Davis were recorded together so it flowed much more seamlessly. The biggest knock against them is that they've been the sole commentary team for so long but it sounds way more natural. The new teams need to get in the booth together. The energy is all over the place.

I thought Kate Scott & Brock Huard sounded really good, way better than Gaudin & Davis, but that’s just my opinion.

Yeah been afraid of this, I'll probably get quickly irritated with the new teams and go back to G and D more often than not unless they add new stuff for the new teams

Tericho almost sounds AI’ish. Even in the presentation deep dive his voice sounded off. I might go with Kate Scott’s crew. Sounds the best imo

Yea it’s pretty bad but that’s expected with new commentary. Have to give it another year to see a bigger improvement, especially if they continue to update the commentary throughout the season.
