I have EA Play and my PS5 shows that I have the pre-order discount when it shows me the prices of the Standard Edition for Madden. But there is no way to select he trial without purchasing, which defeats the purpose of the trial. When I try to select EA Play as a service on the Ps5 it asks me to purchase the subscription, which I not only already have, the PS5 is aware that I have it.

The same thing happened for CFB25 I couldn't access the trial until I purchased the game. Which seems backwards.

EA Play official site says the trial goes up on the 13th.

I'll edit, I saw people saying they had trial on Xbox but maybe it's still 13th for PS5 or it's just a slow rollout.

It's available for EA Play (downloading now)...go to your PS5 "Your Collection" Section...as if you owned the game. There you have the ability to download.

No dice from my end. It's listed up EA Play as a free trial, but doesn't actually have a button for it.

But it IS under the Free Trial list. So hopefully just a goof that they catch and correct to make it downloadable as intended.

EA Sub. I haven't purchased a version. However the EA Play option was for the Deluxe edition.
