Conference Schedules in Dynasty
Has anyone noticed problems with conference schedules in dynasty not rotating? A buddy and I have a dynasty going and both of our teams play the same 9 teams in conference year after year even though there are 20 teams in our conference. Is this a known problem?PSN: Maserati_Bryan17Tags: None -

The one I'm currently in was made before the patch could that be why this is still a problem? Would we need to restart?PSN: Maserati_Bryan17Comment

Re: Conference Schedules in Dynasty
Isn’t it non-conference games being fixed in the next update?
I’m having the same issue in my dynasty. I play the same teams every year with maybe 1-2 different teams rotating in. Custom conferences could be part of the issueComment

Re: Conference Schedules in Dynasty
Correct, the tweet that CFB Direct sent out referenced non-conference opponents.
I have not had any issues with rotating conference opponents in my offline Dynasty, and I restarted after the last patch.
I'm the OC at Ball State, and played several different MAC opponents in Year 2 that I didn't play in Year 1, like Akron and Eastern Michigan. I just looked at the real Ball State schedule for 2025, and it basically matches what the team will actually play.
I am not using custom conferences, if that does make any difference.Last edited by MrArlingtonBeach; 08-14-2024, 10:20 AM.Orbis Non SuficitComment

Re: Conference Schedules in Dynasty
I haven’t touched custom conference in my FAU dynasty, yet my conference games are not rotating. I have 8 consecutive away games to end the season. That’s BS. Again, I’ve yet to touch custom conferences in this game.

Re: Conference Schedules in Dynasty
I have similar issues. I'm now in the 5th year of a dynasty with Wisconsin and I have yet to see Maryland or Michigan State on my schedule. I also had 6 consecutive road games in my conference schedule this season, meaning I only played 3 home conference games. The biggest impact of that, aside from the competitive disadvantage stemming from playing road games, was that my last two home games were at the end of the season and I couldn't get players who were ready for a visit in soon enough to avoid being poached by teams well behind me early in recruiting before I could close the deal.
There is also the issue of rivalry games. Iowa and Minnesota should be on the schedule every year for Wisconsin, yet I have had 2 seasons in which Iowa has not been scheduled. While this isn't enjoyment wrecking, it's wrong and should be corrected.
Another item I have encountered is that I have yet to play Rutgers at home. They have been on the schedule all 5 seasons, and all 5 have been at Rutgers.
I'm about to shelve this game until these issues are fixed. The scheduling issues (and down stream effects into other parts of the game) are really impacting the enjoyability of the game for me as an Offline Dynasty player. Hoping they get these resolved in the next title update, or I may be back to playing The show in September.Comment

Re: Conference Schedules in Dynasty
Anybody know why they don’t allow us to edit conference games? Home away customization at least would be easy. Beyond that we could be allowed to pick different teams within the conference for conference play in theory.Comment

Re: Conference Schedules in Dynasty
I think they know we’d completely Bork schedules if we could do that. All I did was change 1 non-conference opponent from ECU to Charlotte (who was supposed to play UNC that week). At the end of the season I noticed that UNC and ECU only played 11 games because of this.
The obvious thing to do was for the game to schedule ECU and UNC that week, but it didn’t. If we were allowed to change conference opponents, with the hinky scheduling system they have in place we’d end up with conference foes playing too few games.Favorite Teams:
