Yeah it’s doing this to me regularly and is very irritating. You can’t fix it.

      What’s even more irritating…

I just finished my first season in my “real” dynasty with Penn State, and when I get to the point in the beginning of my new season where I can customize my schedule, there’s an FCS game inexplicably thrown on there that I can’t remote. wtf EA?! I wouldn’t mind if I could change it out for who we actually play (FIU), but I can’t. So I’m stuck with it. Maddening.

      Is this a known issue?

To be frank, EA is lost in the sauce when it comes to the scheduling. It’s one of my biggest peeve’s right now. I did customer conferences, it borked everything (Oregon had all away games, no protected rivalries for teams, etc.). So I said don’t touch conferences. Still have the same issues three years down the line. Albeit, some of the rivalries are still there. But they just don’t have the code down for scheduling at all. Do not add or remove games either. It will mess with the schedule of the other teams. For people to say this is one of the best sports games in the past twenty years when they can’t get basic scheduling right? Come on.

          My USF dynasty …
2026: I had no home games between Week 3 and Week 11
2027: I had no home games after Week 8

Pretty hard to recruit when you have no home games for visits.

            2026 ODU schedule…..

            Play week 0
0 bye weeks until week 10 (so first 10 games with no bye).
Final home game is week 9.
7 of our 8 conference games are in the first 9 weeks (thru week 8).

I could change the schedule (and still might) to add a bye or 2 earlier in the schedule, but in my experience, whenever I change noncon opponents it cause 2 teams to only play 11 games (the team I was supposed to play and the team that was supposed to play the team I switched to).
            Favorite Teams:

College #2: Michigan State Spartans (my alma mater)
College #3: North Carolina Tar Heels
            NHL: Detroit Redwings

              Oof.

Did some testing by changing 2 games and the 2 teams I changed to played 13 games while the ones I changed from played 11….

Scheduling is completely broken, and its ruined the game for me. I'm going to shelve this game until a Patch is released to fix it.

I already posted about my last season having 6 away games in a row and losing a ton of recruits because by the time they were ready for a visit it was 7 weeks before I could get them in. This season I was just about to start and had 6 in a row again, but with a bye week sandwiched in the middle, where I inserted a NC home game.

The impact this has on recruiting cannot be overstated.

Other issues ... for the second straight season (now in my 6th) I have 3 Conference Home Games and 6 Conference Road Games. It would be bad if if I had consecutive seasons of 4 Home - 5 Road conference games. Any season at 3 Home and 6 Road or 6 Home and 3 Road for that matter, suggests a real lack of focus on the details in testing for a critical component of Dynasty mode, IMO

Next Issue. I play as Wisconsin and I have yet to see Michigan State or Maryland on my schedule entering my 6th Dynasty season.

And then this ... Rutgers ALWAYS gets scheduled as a Road Game.

I have had 2 season out of 6 where permanent rival Iowa has not been on the schedule.

If you are a Dynasty player these issues are beyond annoying. It completely ruins the game playing experience.

How is it that they have the scheduling software from 14 but don’t use it? The logic is in there and they freaking own the Software so wtf?

So much good stuff left out from 14
