Funkycorm here. It's time for another year of Madden XP Sliders.

Welcome to Madden 25!

After the fiasco that happened last year, this thread will be simpler this year.

I will not go into a long spiel about the sliders but I do want to clarify a few things.

Over the last 5 years, there have only been a handful of people who have done XP sliders. There will be different interpretations by the end user about specific values as no XP slider set will ever be perfect or the best. I have never claimed mine have been either of those things. I trust the process I have established in making these XP sliders.

I debated for a long time about returning to the XP Slider arena in Madden and decided the benefit to the community is worth it.

My rule in this thread is simple. No negativity. If you come at me, I will come back ruthlessly at you. This thread will be different from what I did last year and different from my EA CFB XP thread. I will share information as I want and updates will be at my leisure and I will not necessarily engage in open chat. I also reserve the right to lock this thread at any juncture.

Funky, since you are the master at XP, and you truly are. I always love your XP set.

If I want to ignore weekly planning and all the scenarios (meaning dont even go into them), should I leave XP at default except for maybe the age ranges?

The theory is, I think game planning and scenarios control to much of the gameplay. I love the thought behind them and the immersion it is suppose to bring, but EA has just overpowered and miss programmed them. Comparing the gameplay to CFB (which doesn't have game plan or scenarios) I think that is why CFB plays so much smoother.

If I want to ignore weekly planning and all the scenarios (meaning dont even go into them), should I leave XP at default except for maybe the age ranges?

If you don’t choose a game plan, they do it for you. Skipping it does nothing unfortunately.

TC answered for you but I will add one thing. I am definitely seeing inflation in the ratings at the default settings. I am definitely lowering multiple position sliders and such, just like we had to do last year.

I apologize for the delay in these. Had a power outage and we were without power for a few days. Locked in version 1 will be available on Friday.

Second post up dated with Version 1, Beta 1, updated 8/29/2024 sliders.

Note that I am still monitoring some things and some of these numbers may change. I wanted to get a beta version out there.

As always, thanks for using these and I hope they prove helpful for many.

The numbers may or may not be completely final based on my further testing.
