CPU spike ball to stop clock?
Has anyone ever seen the CPU spike the ball to stop the clock? I've watched hundreds if not thousands of games over the past 3 years and have never seen this. It's so frustrating that EA doesn't fix small details like this to make the CPU more competitive at the end of the first half/end of the game. -

Nope, haven't seen it last few years as well from memory but CPU end of game time management is terrible imoHas anyone ever seen the CPU spike the ball to stop the clock? Re: CPU spike ball to stop clock?
Ive done a lot of cpu vs cpu and have never (in at least 4 years) seen the cpu spike the ball.
I actually got excited when I saw CFB do it, thinking that when M25 came out, it would be in there......... sadly not.Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.Comment

Re: CPU spike ball to stop clock?
Fairly certain I've seen it a couple times but this is making me second guess myself lol.
What REALLY needs to be fixed is how it's faster to just pick a play from the huddle and line up instantly instead of going no huddle and having to go through 20 second runoff. Never understood why the accelerated clock doesn't work inside of 2 minutes when going back to huddle.Comment

Yep - this is the issue. No need to spike the ball while your team is morphed up the field with hardly any time coming off the clock before you line up and snap it.
Actually takes longer to get your team to the line and spike it (under two minutes) than it does just to pick a play.

Re: CPU spike ball to stop clock?
I've submitted this as a bug several times on EA's site. But seeing as how it's the same on M25 and CF25 - when AC did work inside the final 2 minutes on previous Maddens - I'm thinking it's a (poor) design decision.Fairly certain I've seen it a couple times but this is making me second guess myself lol.
