Every QB is Elway in 2 minute offense
It either ending in a pick or the most annoying TD yet. 1st and 2nd halfTags: None -
Re: Every QB is Elway in 2 minute offense
This happened in NCAA 14 as well.
Every single time it is 2 minutes to go in the first half, if the CPU got the ball it was going to be a TD.
I remember beginning to play the new CFB game and sure enough, same exact thing.
I thought I was crazy and am glad to see i'm not the only one out there who deals with the super human CPU AI 2 minute nightmare.
The only way I can attempt to slow them down is to literally play prevent defense AND take one of my D-linemen and user them. Once the play begins, I move them into the middle of the field, so basically having 9 players in the secondary.Last edited by smoove7; 09-01-2024, 11:27 PM...."And there's a frequent bug that turns the receivers' route markers into dancing squiggly lines. None of these problems destroy the fun of running a perfect option play, but they do take you out of what should be an immersive experience.".... -
Re: Every QB is Elway in 2 minute offense
Hell, every QB is Elway way for 60 minutes. For the last two weeks, every QB torches me for 600 yards. I have even gone so far as to set defensive sliders at 100 and the QB's are still All-Pro out there. Its like the AI has finally caught on to what I'm doing and know how to combat it. I'm going to have to take a break from CFB and wait to see if the next patch does anything.Talk about things nobody cares.

Re: Every QB is Elway in 2 minute offense
I think it’s tied to the CPU becoming a lot more aggressive with their play calling inside of 2 min.
If you notice your coach suggestions on offense, the play calling becomes almost 100% pass within the 2 min warning (unless you’re winning and it’s the 4th). Other than that the play calling doesn’t really change. From opening play to 2:01 left in the half they’ll recommend the same plays. As soon as it hits 2 everything is air it out.
Even on heisman, the CPU seems content to just run into a wall all game against me getting little to negative yard runs on 1st and 2nd. They don’t get aggressive until the 2 min warning and then everybody is basically a HoF QB like you said.Comment

The computer is also very likely to score on the next drive, after you took the 7-0 lead.
Also the number of drops you're facing in your first season of a dynasty is ridiculous. Your receivers are dropping passes on 3rd downs, on 4th downs and of cause in the endzone.
Just finished a game in my Georgia State dynasty. My receivers dropped 11(!!!) out of 45 passes.Proudly supports: freedom, democracy, Ukraine, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Greenland, the European Union, free GeorgiaComment

Something like that is obviously a slider thing which can be corrected if you deem it an issue. In my ODU dynasty (whose 6 deep WRs are 83, 78, 77, 74, 74, 68) we have 6 drops as a team thru 4 games (10 minute quarters). Also the number of drops you're facing in your first season of a dynasty is ridiculous.
