Possible first CFB 26 information (EA Playtest survey)

So this guy just made a video talking about a survey that was sent out to EA playtesters asking them to rank the following features in regards to what they want to see in CFB 26:

    - Trophy Room
    - Customizable player emblem/calling card including accomplishments and school affiliation that shows to others during online modes.
    - Player hub. Contains trophy room, calling card stuff, music settings, other stuff.
    - HS back in RTG
    - Legacy score in RTG; compare legacy scores to all time greats
    - Meters to balance how you spend your time in RTG (this is already in CFB 25, video creator speculates they are asking for feedback on this feature)
    - In game presentation focused on your player in RTG, possible storylines added.
    - Program points in dynasty. Spend points on coordinators, progressing players, or recruiting.
    - Focus players dynasty: manually progress up to 5 players how you want.
    - Wear and tear management in dynasty; choose how players practice to manage wear and tear.
    - Gameday strategy in dynasty; sounds like what Madden does in franchise.
    - Playbook installs in dynasty - install plays in your game for that week and those plays will have boosts.
    - Gameday pregame adjustments; set schematic adjustments pre-play.
    - Real time coaching 2.0; real coaches appears in parentheses. Plus team specific styles.
    - Dynamic substitutions on the fly pre play
    - Formation subs - sub players for an entire formation
    - QOL changes to home field advantage, confidence/composure, pre snap recognition, and abilities.
    - Custom zones - more user control in telling zone defenders where to go
    - Add sim to points for every week of the season in dynasty
    - Stat panel in player screen
    - Access player card/stats in screens press Y on all screens a player is show to access player card.
    - Access team schedule in polls, conference standings, and bowl projections by pressing Y
    - Additional prospect list advance search filters
    - Recruiting battles added to recruiting screen for 2 close schools
    - Online dynasty members tab shows bunch of info for each member in an online dynasty.
    - Additional news categories: recruiting, coach contract, bye week, RTG, new user, Heisman moments
    - Deeper news story depth, result of previous game, result of previous rival game, etcetera.
    - Dynamic dealbreakers that change from year to year
    - Injury statuses
    - Player progression in training results shows how much they improved in parentheses

Those are paraphrased from the video. Some good stuff in there, also some stuff I'm iffy on. Mostly positive additions. Important to note that these aren't all things that will be in CFB 26, EA is likely trying to determine what the players think is most important. Video is linked below for those who want to watch themselves, the guy who did it explained every item and what he thinks it's talking about.

I agree 100% with this. I was highly disappointed with RTG that I didn't play it. It felt like I started to watch a movie 30 minutes in.

      1. Preplay movement by the D
      2. Gang tackling/boom tech if it works and is cool (for those who play M25 let me know)
      3. Progressive lighting
      4. Spring game

Definitely need a Trophy Room. I was surprised it wasnt in 25.

Progressive lighting should be at the very top of that list.

Formation subs would be the #1 for me, followed by any improvements for the dynasty mode.

Wow I'm surprised nobody mention draft class transfer from college to Madden
That should be on top of the list period!

Why wasn't any of this in 25, they had the time to do it.

I want the ability to export rosters from the ps5 to pc

That won't happen because of the NIL contracts. The contract is to use that player's likeness only in the college game. They don't involve the NFLPA in any way, and that's what the players have to be part of to be in Madden.

It's probably too complicated to include a feature that doesn't activate until the 5th year of a dynasty (when rosters are all computer-generated).

Yeah, I wonder how that would work contract wise
with the college players. Would they get a piece of the Madden money or did they sign their NIL deal to be possibly included in any EA game, or is it specifically for CFB. Whatever the case, they will need new language drawn up in their contract.

I like the dynamic dealbreakers. Or maybe have a primary and secondary one. Because for 4 and 5 star players, 80% of the dealbreakers should be playing time. If the game wants to add more realism.

A 5 star QB can likely win a national title at UGA, but they aren’t sticking around as a backup because UGA is A+ in “championship contender”. They are leaving to start somewhere else.

If they had put ALL of this in, we wouldn't have gotten CFB 25. Try to think of CFB 25 as a solid base for upcoming iterations.

Love all these. Can we get realistic depth charts too? Field and boundary secondary players, strong and weakside players, EDGE/LB/IDL designations. If you want to get really deep X, Y, and Z WRs, H-Backs, and even the flexbone specific a and b backs for those playbooks especially. This would drastically improve recruiting too since the AI isn't always keen on which OLBs/DEs actually fit their schemes in general

Showing how much players progress in off-season shouldn't be too hard to add, hopefully it doesn't take until next game to be added.

I think deal breakers being dynamic is a good concept, I've never really had a problem with a bunch of players transferring because of them. You could have 10 5* Qbs on your team if none have a playing time deal breaker.
