    Harold Perkins Jr

Is there a reason he lines up as defensive end 90% of the time when he’s a ROLB???

He's probably at the top of the depth chart for RLE or RRE, which are the pass rushing defensive ends positions in pass defenses like nickel and dime. And to be fair, LSU does sometimes use him as a pass rusher in real life.

He’s listed at ROLB on the depth chart but in most defensive packages, he is lined up as the right defensive end. The only defensive alignment I see him at ROLB is the 4-4 scheme. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or not.

Read the answer above your post.

If you don’t want him on the line in nickels and dimes (or 425 if you have it) then remove him from the RLE or RRE in the depth chart. That’s why he’s lining up like that.

RRE and RLE are near the bottom of your depth chart.

Also I believe Chase has an article explaining all the new (for those of us coming straight from NCAA14 with no Madden in between) positions in the depth chart (3DRB, PWHB, SLWR, RLE, RRE, RDT, SUBLB, SLCB). You should read it as it’s very informative.

          EDIT: Here it is:
