This is unreal. There are still ZERO jersey number updates. If they are not willing to let us edit numbers then they need to update the jersey numbers themselves. At this point they’re representing several players incorrectly

Hopefully it's a server side update and we still get a roster update today. Tons of missing players and incorrect numbers.

As much as I wanna believe that I think that the roster updates come with the actual game update like how it did last time. It’s amazing to me that we can’t get jersey number and position changes 5 weeks into the season

Absolutely agree! This community would have everything correct in a week if we were able to share rosters and make edits ourselves.

Well if that was an issue then the current state of the game now would be a problem since they’re incorrectly representing a bunch of current players that opted into the game. I don’t know about yall but if I was a current player and they had my jersey number wrong for weeks without the ability to change it I would be a little upset

EA Sports misrepresents the players week in and week out, so the whole argument of not being able to edit due to their agreement goes right out the window. And there is two decades plus proof of the community doing a better job of providing accurate rosters than EA could ever do. And that's across every sport game they sell (Madden, NHL, FIFA).

What are you talking about? Only thing I can find about a lawsuit is a class action related to Battlefield 4. Link? And what could random Twitch streamers possibly have cause to sue for? Are they current/former athletes who appear in the game?

Oregon has 6, I think? Including two defensive starters wearing the same number, and 2 sets of DBs with 2 numbers between them.

I've been changing numbers before each game for the team I am playing to make certain position numbers make sense. Once you get past years one and two, I imagine most of these guys you're upset about having wrong number will be completely erased from your dynasty anyways. The fact we can change numbers at all is nice. Don't take it for granted. We didn't have the game for 11 years for a reason.

Brother I don’t play just dynasty I play the weekly games. It’s offputting when teams star player's have the wrong number. And tbh there’s no defending it it’s just blatantly lazy

This lie refuses to die I see. The issue was never ever users modifying the files. It was all on EA creating 1 to 1 replicas of the players without compensating them. The reason the game exists now is because NIL means they can legally create the players they were illegally creating before without issue. Hence all the features that were "illegal" to edit slowly being opened up one by one as the patches fill in
