When Players get HOT -is it Reflected in their Ratings?

So I was wondering this......in a game when players perform well in certain situations during the game and gets "hot" how does the game engine handle this?

Is it indicated with increased player ratings for a specific category that relates to how well they are performing? And if so, is it reflected real time in the game and is it something visual you see or does a players attributes go up or down the following game?

Reason I ask is, when I go into the coaching section during a game and look at depth chart, I see some players that have red numbers in parenthesis next to certain ratings that seem to indicate either a deduction or addition of that value to their original rating. Still not sure which it is.....Also, Im trying to determine if this is real time in game or from something else prior

Yes, ratings are impacted by composure. A player in the zone will get boosts to certain ratings dictated by their position and archetype.

From the gameplay deep dive:

Quote:

It's important to note that composure is highly individualized, driven by a player's archetype. For instance when your player starts to “cook”, a Scrambling Quarterback will have improved ball security, while a Field General will benefit from improved throw accuracy.
I do not know if you can see these ratings changes on any menu or not.

These are 2 different things.

1. When a player is hot or cold (due to their composure in the game) they play better or worse. This is indicated by a red [emoji91] under them in game when hot or a blue [emoji3587] under them when cold.

2. When looking at the depth chart and seeing red numbers, this is due to wear and tear (them getting dinged up from big hits during the game). 80 (in white) followed by -20 (in red) means that his rating is normally an 80, but due to a bruise leg (or whatever) he’s lost 20 to that rating and is now effectively a 60 instead.

1. Playing well heats up a player towards [emoji91]and away from [emoji3587]. Playing poorly cools them off towards [emoji3587] and away from [emoji91].

2. Resting a player during the game can allow him to recover and remove the negative ratings he’s getting from west and tear.

Change the depth chart.

For a QB or HB you could use a package sub, but I still just change the depth chart. I’ve had to do that for every position on my team except for kicker and punter.

I check back periodically and when they’re healthier, I sub them back in.

lol, my bad. I originally read that as 'Resetting' a player.

Yes, the player gets better but the depth chart does not reflect this.

For example, if a player is hot (full composure bar) pause the game and go to the depth chart: You will not see a ratings change.

Past NCAA titles (PS2 I believe) allowed you to see their ratings improvement or drop.
