What is keeping EA from adding cleats like

Nike Teen Spirit, Jerry Rice Vapor Edges
Kyler Murray and Jamar Chase Vapor Edge Elite 360s
Air Jordan 5s
Air Jordan 1 Mid Black and the Gray
Chicano shoes
Alpha Menace Elite 2
Travis Keller Alpha Menace Elite 3
The Madden Cleats

All found in Superstar Mode

Meanwhile who in the NFL is still wearing

Adidas Freak Ultra Mid
Nike Alpha Menace Elite 1
Nike Alpha Menace Pro
Nike Alpha Pro 2 3/4 TD
Nike Force Savage Elite 2
Nike Force Savage Pro and Pro 2
Nike Lunar Beast
Nike Vapor Carbon Elite TD
Nike Capor Speed 3
Nike Vapor Untouchable 1 and 2
Nike Vapor Untouchable 1

The UnderAmour cleats (are they even in the NFL anymore)

There are plenty of players that don’t wear team color cleats across the NFL and a LOT of the cleats listed aren’t being used and haven’t been used in SEVERAL seasons.

Could they move some of the cleats listed above into franchise mode or even on the front end of the rosters?

Yeah, it’s like this in NCAA too. I’ve been saying this for years about madden. They’re so far behind NBA2k and any other sports game in this department. Somehow we can’t even edit individual players cleats.

If I'm being honest...

Personally, I hope the reason they are not adding the cleats is because they are too busy focused on gameplay matters. I would hope they have more people working on the fact that even 3rd stringers or kickers can come in the game and complete 75% of passes.

But if EA prioritizes cleats over game play, then that's what they do. I suppose gamers would be willing overlook gameplay over amazing cleats.
