Re: PS5 Pro
For this game and CFB 25, it would be nice to know what the improvements will be. Outside of PSSR, we don't really have a clue. I can definitely see how PSSR can help CFB. Madden's visuals are definitely better than CFB and there are plenty instances where CFB doesn't have a good stable image. At least Madden, there's an idea of what the improvements can be since it has graphics modes. I can see a scenario where the Fidelity and Performance modes are combined and using PSSR to improve image quality. But, CFB doesn't have graphics modes. So, I expect similar improvements as Madden or just using PSSRComment

The thing is CFB 25 only has a visuals mode which uses ray tracing. But it’s rendered at a lower resolution to hit 60 FPS and that’s why it doesn’t look as sharp as Madden. When you put Madden on visuals setting you’ll notice it doesn’t look that good either and the picture is very soft. If it looks anything like it looks on PC with ray tracing we’re in for a treat.

Re: PS5 Pro
On consoles there’s 3 settings. Performance, resolution and visuals. Visuals is the only one the uses ray tracing but it’s rendered in a much lower resolution so the picture looks way too soft and not that good. The best looking on consoles is resolution and performance. Go check it out for yourself. Visual mode doesn’t look that good. I wouldn’t be surprised if visuals is less than 1080p and they’re using FSR to upscale the image.

Re: PS5 Pro
F1 optimized their game for pro. I doubt ncaa and madden, yearly releases, are going back to optimize games that are in the discount price period when a new game will be out in less than a year.Comment

Re: PS5 Pro
F1 is also a yearly release game and it came out before Madden and NCAA. There’s nothing to really go back and optimize. They’re already optimized for PC which is an open platform. It’s not that hard to be honest.

Re: PS5 Pro
Watched a little bit of a Jacob R video in which he plays CFB on the Pro, and his initial impression is that there wasn’t a noticeable difference. Granted he said he was playing on a monitor and not 4k 65in.Comment

Re: PS5 Pro
Going to test it out when it arrives tomorrow and start with what I hope is an updated roster set. First thing I'll check will be what does the output read? Will there be an option to pick be available or not and if the description is different. Other than that, I'll expect;
Advanced ray-tracing
Smooth framerates of 120hz since the OLED LG CX models support it.

Re: PS5 Pro
I just watched a video on a YouTuber and he’s had the pro for about a week now and he said many games still haven’t received the pro update yet. He said GT7 as of today still hasn’t been patched. I would assume by tomorrow most of them will receive the patch.

Re: PS5 Pro
I have the game and the pro, but I’m pretty sure the patch isn’t out? There’s zero differences currently, same for ncAAComment
