What is happening with this game? I feel with everyone of those pop up updates this game gets worse. Less user control, random things like going out out on baseline. Missing layups and shots at crucial times, the risk factor changing. It’s jus so much it’s irritating. These canned animations, etc smh

The poor responsiveness and overly canned animations have been there since day 1 (and earlier, i.e., 2K24). Maybe they’re just finally starting to wear on you.

The poor responsiveness and overly canned animations have been there since day 1 (and earlier, i.e., 2K24). Maybe they’re just finally starting to wear on you.

No what wears on me is one day the game is fluid and responsive and the next all the sudden my passes are slow and stickiness is back. It varies from update to update

Have you seen the latest NBA games? lol missing layups, everyone shooting threes.. a real irritating time to watch the game.

I would say the game is just mirroring what we see in the real life. You never know what you are going to get.

One thing I did when I got frustrated with the game was play some really old games like NBA Live 2004.. fixed my issues right on up lol

If it went both ways fine but when I’m on all star and Dillon Daniels hits a contested 3 and OG then misses a layup to tie it. I have a problem

I can’t believe true to form 2K is possibly gonna make me regret buying this game when I vowed to stay on 2K23 cause it plays close to perfectly for me. And it’s bliss having an old 2K game that they don’t screw up every other day.

I’m spending a month or more building rosters before I even play this game so let’s hope 2K don’t make me regret it. I just wanted to try a new game since I’ve been on 23 for over 2 years now. Watching everyone worship this game when it first came out was hilarious as ya’ll never learn. 2K ALWAYS screws up their games.

I’m putting lots of time into my roster so hopefully it’ll be worth it.

If not I’m sure 2K25 will be “OMG THE BEST 2K EVER” when it comes out (as usual &#128514 as everyone hopelessly forgets that what’s they said about every other 2K before it got screwed up.

I’m actually enjoying this game more than the last few years since it seems much more challenging. However it’s the little things which 2k usually gets correct that are annoying me. Every year there seem to be more bugs or issues in menus or game modes that don’t get fixed (i.e. MyNBA injury bug, simmed stats issues). It’s taking away from the gameplay unfortunately just because they are starting to add up.

Idk how to do videos except for on my phone. I don’t have an elaborate recording set up like you guys. Just imagine Daniels hitting a corner three with OG all over him. Then imagine OG driving past his defender help is late OG with a clear look at the basket no one in front but just to the side and him missing the layup. No way that happens to tie the game.

To this day. NBA Live 2004 is my favorite video game of all time.

I've been missing questionable layups since day one with this year's title. It is what it is.

This year is not a good game and objectively a laughably bad representation of physics. It's essentially just an animation cheese fest where you wait to see how the CPU is going to get some sort of advantage and try to react accordingly. It's shockingly actually worse than last year, and that's saying something.

Man you guys are really making me worry about spending so much time editing rosters. I still don’t know if it’ll all be to waste before I finally start playing.

Honestly I would’ve skipped this one but the body type improvements got me. Players now actually can have dimensions that look like athletes which makes older titles look a bit dated in that regard.
