Which Sliders Effect Sacks?
 

I play CPU vs. CPU and I currently have my pass blocking slider set to 100, yet I’m still seeing too many sacks. Which other sliders do people find effect sack rate?? Thanks!

It’s a Madden issue for many years now.
I lowered them but still way too many compared to the NFL and Sliders will not fix them.

I think there is a QB rating category that enhances their ability to throw the ball away (which maybe "Awareness") that avoids Sacks to some degree ?

There is a way to combat sacks regardless of what someone else said here. But you have to be willing to edit QB traits. Select Throw Ball Away and make sure the QB is not a stand in the pocket guy. I forget which traits are best for making the QB move but you definitely don't want a Brady type QB who will just look downfield all day.

The best way right now is to edit QB traits. All QB's have the trait throw ball away AT off so you need to activate it for all of Them. After that, you need to set each QB that are set AT Pocket passer to either scrambling or balanced depending on the QB realistic playstyle. Lastly, you need to remove any QB with a Paranoid sense of pressure. Any QB with a ratings 85+ au have Them set Up AT ideal pressure, 79-84 to average and below 79 trigger happy. Averaging 5-6 sacks total since I started doing this

Not seeing this issue on Pro Level CPU vs CPU and I've tested pass blocking between 50 and 55

Tackle slider effects the ability of defenders to shed blocks and right now with it slightly lowered around 45 the DL aren't beating OL as often in pass protection.

If anything the biggest problem I've encountered with CPU vs CPU gameplay is high scoring outcomes do to the nature of EA making the game so pass happy.

Ive always used default roster, and NEVER in 10 years of playing Madden EVER touched a Trait or adjusted ratings or changed playbooks for teams.

That said, I have not seen a sack issue in the past 3 years I can remember. Ive also never have had pass blocking over 65 (one year I think). I also never stray in a wild direction or another with my sliders.

Lastly I remember this is Madden and not real NFL football. So I try to replicate Madden and not the NFL. I spent to many years falling into slideritis and "matching NFL gameplay" that I never just enjoyed the game.
