Recruit switches team (then back) in offseason?

I recently had a weird situation with a recruit in a two-person online dynasty. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know how it happened to us?

    1) I (Ohio State) lead the recruit at the start of Week 4, but my friend (Oklahoma) has him in for a visit that week.
    2) The recruit commits to OU after Week 4 going into Week 5.
    3) He shows up in the Top Classes and on the Prospect List as an OU commit for the rest of the regular season and through the CFP.
    4) During Offseason Recruiting and Transfer Portal, I see him in the Prospect List with a green circle in the first column. I click him to add him to my board, and he shows up there as an OSU commit (and on my list of recruits in the Top Classes list).
    5) I advance to Position Changes and move him from OT to C.
    6) I advance to Encourage Transfers, and he's now on OU's roster as a C.

His Deal Breaker was Championship Contender, and considering OU and OSU just faced off in the title game, I don't think this was a case of OU's grade falling too low (and even if that's why he switched to OSU, it doesn't explain why he switched back).

(Sorry if this has been brought up before. I tried looking through the forum for similar issues/posts, but searching here leaves much to be desired.)

Sounds like a glitch that he ever was addable to your board and that he was always an OU signee. You don’t think he should’ve come to your school do you?

Did the OU player ever show him as not his signee?

This has to be a bug. You changed the position of a recruit who committed to a different program. I cannot imagine that is the intended implementation.

No, I don't think he should have been on my roster. And he didn't show up on OU's roster during position changes or offseason training.

The Oregon Ducks got some tough news on Friday morning, with reports surfacing that 5-star true freshman quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele will enter the transfer portal after signing with the Ducks and enrolling this winter. Sagapolutele flipped

I agree 100% that this is a bug, but the way this guy above committed, flipped, signed, and then transferred 2 weeks after committing sounds kinda/sorta similar. You could mentally call the situation in the game an "NIL thing".
