WWE & TNA Announce Multi-Year Partnership

https://www.espn.com/professional-wr...ng-partnership

Looks like an extended deal of their "NXTNA" move.

I wonder the extent of this move. Does it mean WWE can use TNA archival footage now? Can they use TNA matches like Ultimate X and others? Is this going to lead to WWE just buying them out? TNA viewed like another NXT? A WWECW?

To me it's also interesting because TNA took over on the same channel WWE was on in Canada immediately after WWE moved to Netflix. Was WWE almost helping orchestrate a new deal where WWE moves to streaming internationally and they work out a deal for TNA to take over their old deals on cable tv (at a cheaper price obviously)?

Can we get the X-Division match in NXT for the North American title? That would be sick, lol.

I am all for this. Maybe we get some TNA stars for the video game? HOPEFULLY some archives coming to Netflix or Peacock would be super cool.

So what number is Joe Hendry drawing in the Rumble? Do you put him out there early with the losers or have him in later to mix it up with the bigger names?

I could see him just getting in early to get more of the spotlight.

For the Women's rumble, I see Grace getting a big spot there. Making it seem like she's jumping from TNA to WWE when in reality she's already done with TNA.

Feels like this was already happening. The same way AEW collaborated with TNA back in 2020.

AEW really dropped the ball on that one big time.

It was so one sided when for a moment it looked like it could go places when Kenny won the title thanks to Callis and then just ran off to TNA. But that was probably the peak of their relationship for TNA. The rest was just about Callis in AEW and the Good Brothers coming over.

TNA should've been what ROH would eventually become, except AEW wouldn't have had to buy them out.

I wonder how much WWE would do with this partnership. World's Collide except this time its a full on TNA vs NXT feud with champs vs champs?

Or could someone from WWEs roster want to go to TNA and win a title for a bit? What if Becky wins the Knockouts title? Or AJ wins one more TNA title?

It was one-sided but it also kinda had to be? AEW had (and has) much bigger names than TNA and that unbalance meant they had to dominate the partnership. I think TNA did get good buyrates out of the Omega PPVs though, so it worked for them from that perspective.

NXT and TNA are much closer in terms of name value so this partnership makes more sense.

Did they? It played into Kenny being the belt collector, and got the Biz Cliz reunion. Once Gallows and Gun were headed for WWE and Kenny started dropping belts, it was no longer necessary.
