This bit from the newsroom article is interesting:
"Perfect Swing makes its debut in PGA TOUR 2K25, presenting an all new difficulty setting that reduces the material impact of external factors on a player’s swing, a truly accessible setting that allows both new and experienced players to enjoy the thrill of hitting fairways and greens like a champion."
Also, from the video, it looks like we may have multiple golf bag options, with the "Golf Bag 1" callout:

Game seemed more “alive” than previous iterations in the trailer… interactions with caddies, follow through on swings, etc.

New body type and caddy/player animations are great. Not sure how I feel about the diagonal swing. Hated it in the TW series, probably will hate it here.Comment

Found it interesting from the gameplay clips when the golfers were teeing off that it did not indicate how the golfers name will appear on screen (full name or gamertag id or customizable). I realize this may be a very little detail that no one else cares about.
The big feature for me that I would like to hear about is if there will be an option to go head-to-head versus the PGA pros in a quick round.
If that is the case with both scenarios, then I would be very excited at the possibility to create a full roster created PGA pros and not mind only 11 PGA Pros at launch. I may be way off base, but the possibilities have me excited.Comment

This screenshot has me wondering...
Does the follower total/popularity/personality in career mode mean you actually have bigger crowds when playing?
