If they have 30 of them locked in showcase mode again I'm out. That mode is terrible and to force me to grind 4 or 5 hours through something I don't want to play when I've paid $99 for the deluxe edition is ridiculous.

You didn't actually have to properly go through the showcase.

I put it on Rookie, got a count out win, moved to next match, and it unlocked everything because we paid for the deluxe edition.

Took like 45 mins or so..

I'm one of those weirdos who always does every Showcase objective so I had to look this up. Last year the WM Edition unlocked the Showcase wrestlers automatically and you just had to win the match to get the arena, yeah.

It might be worth noting that this year's breakdown of all the content between editions doesn't mention that (and it did last year). Maybe they ditched it, maybe they kept it and didn't feel like highlighting it again, who knows?
