New Update 1/23

1.6 GB on Xbox. Looks like they added some new uniforms at the very least.

EDIT: Upon further review, it was only a couple pieces. They fixed South Alabama's red pants (had the wrong stripe), added white pants that omit the "Flash Fast" text down the side for Kent State, and added Black Jerseys, Black Pants, and a white/black helmet for Utah State.

I didn't see any new equipment. Player Archetypes still get screwed up when you start a new dynasty. Cover 2 shell still doesn't work pre-snap.

So another nothingburger other than the typical EA BS of "more jersey's!!"

Definitely unimpressed with this game overall. So much stuff is missing and screwed up. They had so much time with this game, and it's just another Madden 2.0.

I'll be passing on this next year, and I know I'm not alone.

I will not preorder like I did this year. I cannot say if I will or won't buy the game next year, but they need to make a significant improvement on team management in dynasty for me to buy it before the season starts. If not, I'll probably buy it when it is on sale to get Delaware and Missouri State. I would guess they will have about 25% less sales for next year's game.

This was broke for me the entire year, still won't work. Tried 4 different browsers, basic customization to where it shouldn't have any issues etc. Nothing will upload over to the game, always an error.

The above didn't stop me from having a blast this year, but for sure was frustrating.

Compared to what? The same recycled pay to win games out there nowadays?

Now if 2K or others were putting out an NCAA football game and EA's won over competition, then you'd have a point.

I tend to avoid all EA games nowadays but your post got me a bit intrigued because for many years your preferences are similar to mine. I wasn't bothered to even check the trial. Do you really think the game is completely different to the Madden one?
