Coach mode?

I can't figure out how to do a normal coach mode that works. I see the coach mode setting and turn it on, which seems to work for offense, but on defense I noticed the player in "controlling" will simply stand still if I don't do anything even though I have coach mode turned on. Is there any way to call the plays and then just watch things play out by the cpu?

Change your control to one of the defensive lineman. The i ok boy way to leave control on another player is to set your game difficulty to PRO….

So if I put the difficulty to pro the coach mode will work for defense?

I would love for the coach mode to work. I've noticed that on Pro mode, coach mode will work on defense. The problem I have with coach mode is on offense. My QB just stands like a statue in the pocket. This is a known problem with coach mode. User team's QB never scrambles. He stands back there and takes a sack. I just played a game where I was sacked nine times. Every time, the QB just stood back there and didn't move. Wish there was some way to fix this.
