Cy Young is the only Legend in the game who played before 1900, which includes the first 25 years of the National League. There were arguably better players during this period like Kid Nichols and Ed Delahanty. Both are in the Hall of Fame. Delahanty dominated the game during his time. I would like to see SDS give more consideration to Legends of the distant past.

Totally agree (even if I wasn't a White Sox fan lol)! One of the best pitchers of his era and one of the best defensive pitchers as well
