Playbooks when progressing from one era to the next

I just discovered this in 2k24 and wondering if a) there's a workaround and b)if the same issue remains in 2k25.

I'm still playing my 2k24 myNBA save from when I started in the Kobe era. I finally have reached the LeBron era and noticed that all teams are limited to selecting the same set of playbooks as when I started the save, i.e. the 2010 playbooks are not available.

So it seems I can either keep all the 02 playbooks and not have the game evolve as it did in real life, or jumpstart the evolution and give all the teams current day playbooks.

Is there a workaround to be able to use the 2010 playbooks and is this also a problem with 2k25?

You can save the playbook from any era, by hitting the "share playbook". Then you can load the playbook for any team you want.
