PC Replay Baseball Game - Retro League Starting Up

I'm starting up a Retro Baseball League with the 1947 Season.
We will use the PC Replay Baseball game.

Link to the game website : http://www.replaybb.com/PCBBPages/PCBBProducts.htm

We have a couple openings yet. Hoping to find a knowledgeable baseball man or woman to take a team. You don't necessarily HAVE to buy the game at the start. My Excel Spreadsheets should be all you need to be a GM, draft and trade.

But the hope is you will eventually support this small business and purchase this great game.

The link is fine. ReplayBB has never had an HTTPS cert, so when all the browsers started enforcing it, you now have to click that it's fine once you verify you are at the correct link.

Hummm, no, definitely not malicious in any way, shape, or form.

It's a great "old-timers" game and very good forum. Widely used forum for all different kinds of stuff.

And thanks for the backup bkrich83 and Cod.

Still puzzled why it's so hard to get enough guys to do a league for this great game.
While there are hundreds for the APBA game.
Guess Replay guys really do just like to Replay actual seasons "as-was".

I tried ReplayBB a few years ago and just couldn't "get into it". I've been playing ActionPC baseball (and golf) occasionally for a few years now and no other game has given me enough reason to switch.

I may be a bit biased. I started out with the Card-and-Dice APBA board game when I was around 10 years old. Many, many, many years ago. LOL!!

Then got into Replay when they were creating a PC version. I am a play tester for the game. One of the original when they first developed the PC version back in 2008/2009.

Awesome background and that's exciting to be a play tester for Replay. I started with Strat card-and-dice and when I tried their digital offering when it first released, it just wasn't very good and the seasons weren't priced competitively.

For Replay, the gameplay was pretty good. Again, just nothing "added" because a lot of replay sims have great gameplay. Replay's prices are a little steep (per season) and they don't have enough offerings from the deadball era or NeL to warrant a switch for me. Share that with the devs lol

Re: PC Replay Baseball Game - Retro League Starting Up

PC Replay baseball is as good of a C&D conversion to a PC game as there has been.

I looked into Replay because I'd like to move on from Ballstat/Ballscore (rip) for my tabletop homebrews. Unfortunately it seems there's no way to create your own players even for just tabletop companion-only. Otherwise looks like a fantastic program

Digital Diamond Baseball may be what you're looking for. It comes with a module for keeping score for playing along with your Tabletop game along with their own game and Status Pro Baseball in one package.

Replay Baseball is a great game. I am doing a full 1948 Replay using both their cards and dice game and PC Replay software. I am also using other games with Cards and Dice (Strat O Matic and Season Ticket Baseball) and entering the games into my replay.

Replay is a terrific game. A great blend of authentic/realistic results, depth of game, speed and simplicity of play, and rare play charts that make anything possible.

I play Strat using a homebrew set and I was really excited to get this, but my cards are based off college players and PC Replay doesn't have those nor does it allow you to create players even just to use as the board game companion. Has anyone suggested adding that feature? I'd get it for sure then
