    HYPE/DC & Co - WWE 2K25 Project

    4/7 Update: Initial Release
    - All In-Game characters are fully edited and available for use.

    - All additional wrestlers from past projects are fully edited and available for use.

    - Fantasy, generic, and pasted Wrestling Video characters sets are fully edited and available for use.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As always, our goal is to create a simulation wrestling experience within WWE 2K25. As always, if you care about OVERALLS, then this is not the sheet for you. Gameplay is the priority no matter how things may โ€œlookโ€.

2K25 is a great game as weโ€™ve personally not been this satisfied with a modern wrestling game since 2K19. 2K really did a damn good job this year with giving us a very good game on release.

    Notes
    - We will be releasing a โ€œMoveset Tendencyโ€ guide that can help elevate your playing/simming experience. The goal with this is to help the CPU controlled players follow the rules of a โ€œWorked Matchโ€ more than they do out of the box. Those that are familiar with the Fire Pro series, this is for you.

    - Our roster set was not created to handle InterGender matches. Men and Women were rated separately and should not be used vs. each other.

    - This year updates will take place on the 15th of each month up until the release of WWE 2K26. If you have any update suggestions, please refer to our Google Form

    - PC users may have access to a wide-range on the attributes/ tendencies scale

    - There is a bug that causes CPU controlled wrestlers to involuntarily release submission holds. We have sent in a ticket to 2K but it would help out the community if others did so as well. We tried to find ways to alleviate this issue but we havenโ€™t had any luck in doing so.

So would using them in Intergender be completely terrible or would the experience just not be as intended by the creators (you guys)?

Obviously not expecting a fresh set of stats for InterGender just wondering what the outcomes would be

I would think that they mean it wouldn't deliver the simulation experience that they want. I would presume most stats act the same for men and women. So they will all do the same damage and take the same damage etc. You definitely could use them. You definitely might run into weight detection difficulties due to the different weight classes, I'm actually unsure how the game handles that for intergender so maybe you'd need to tweak the strength stats if you wanted to use intergender a lot

It comes down to weight detection and archetypes. The best example is Nia Jax not being able to be lifted or knocked down by a male so is the same weight or more just because she's listed as GIANT.

              Re: HYPE/DC & Co - WWE 2K25 Project

You guys killed it yet again; thank you so much for your hard work.

I use a lot of fictional CAWs, so at some point I'd love to see you guys add more options to the "Generics" including some of the other styles you have listed in your Glossary (i.e. Panther, Mysterious, Vicious, etc.).

Also, it would be cool to have both Heel and Face options for all styles, i.e. Face Giant, Face Technician, Heel Junior, Heel Luchador. I think in these cases, the actual stats would be identical, but the AI Attributes and Personality Sliders would be altered.

To be fair, I've been using your sheets long enough that I have a feel for what to do with these "hybrids", and how to tweak things for my characters, but it could be very helpful for people new to your sheets.

Just a thought... If you guys do absolutely nothing different, this is still one of my favourite things to do when I get a new 2K game, so I really appreciate everything you're doing!

As I always say, THANK YOU for this.

And the question that always arises. and here it is again, CAN I get away with these sliders for Player vs AI from time to time?

                THANKS!

EDIT: In comparing to '24, it looks like you toned down the MOVEMENT SPEED too, I like that idea. I always felt like the entire game played far too fast.

Shouts out to another year of the best edit project running, always love the work y'all do. Won't be able to pick up 2k25 for a while so I'll be sticking with 19 but love that y'all make these games more realistic for sims and playing vs the ai. Love the open communication, love the work, thank y'all.

Updated the PC tool to quickly mass import all these ratings easily with the new 2K25 project. Only for PC users sadly, but wanted to just give a heads up here too for anyone not in the TRIBUTE discord so you can take advantage of this awesome project! (Must use TRIBUTE to do this)

Sorry Hype/DC for posting again in the new thread about this but your work deserves to be heard across the world hahah.

You can play PLAYER vs AI, depending on how you play the game. DC and I generally "work" our matches, rather than try to beat the CPU. DC posted a HOUSE RULES post on this forum a few weeks ago to see what I mean.

And lowering speed slows down a few animations, making them look more visual appealing.
