Field Goals and Extra Points
 

They seem to have made kicking field goals and extra points much harder than in previous years.. I find myself missing a third of all extra points.. =0(

Even when having FG Accuracy set to 99.

You need help man. It's almost too easy to hit FG's IMO

Well I wouldn't say it's almost too easy. It is harder than last year, but you will get better. It took me a few games to get used to it. I laughed the first couple of times I missed extra points.

I have played about 10 games.. and am still missing a third of the extra point attempts...

I will concentrate more instead of just assuming it will go in.. (like in the old days)

As long as you get like 24 or better on the accuracy, it will go in. Don't worry about how much power, make sure you get the accuracy down.

"Get 24"?? I play madden 2005 on the PC... what do you mean by 24? does the console version give you a number when making kicks?

Yeah it does. I think this is the best year ever for FGs/XPs because it's not too hard but you can miss at times which is realistic. Now if they'd just add bobbled snaps and more variety of fakes I'd be happy.

I've missed a hell of alot of them, but that means I need to put time into it. While the kicking game isn't perfect, it's by far my favorite in football games, including kickoff, kick return, especially punt and punt returns and of course FG's.
