Our MLB 2006 Review (PS2)
We have just posted our MLB 2006 review. Find out what Mark Fossen has to say about it.
"Like two titans, a pair of legendary franchises continue to ratchet up their rivalry. They sign huge contracts and throw massive amounts of money around in an effort to squash their competition. Though it looks like one of these two behemoths will claim the prize year in and year out, there’s always hope that a wildcard will unseat the giants, proving that heart and brains can beat big stacks of cash." |

Liked the review, just wondering Fossen if your going to vote for this game to be the Operation Sports Game of the Year why didnt it get 5/5, instead of the same score as last year. :y11:

The fact it's this year's best baseball game doesn't mean it's a 5/5. We'll be adding this scoring explanation to our review pages soon: Quote:

nice rewview Fossen. I have seen a little bit of questionable managment AI to but the gameplay is still very fun.

Re: Our MLB 2006 Review (PS2)
From the review, about having to control defensive players in Career Mode while pitching:
"Or as a pitcher, it would be more exciting and realistic to be stuck in the position of knowing you've given up a potential hit, and praying that your teammates in the field bail you out. " I thought you could set up auto fielding and auto throwing and the like? |

Also, it's an imperfect solution. For example - in my suggestion - I wouldn't want my pitcher Auto-Fielding or Auto-Throwing on balls hit back to the mound. I wan't an option where everyone but me would Auto-Field and Auto-Throw. |
